Our personal injury department is headed up by Sam McFadyen. Sam has throughout his career specialised in personal injury litigation and, in particular, serious brain and spinal cord injuries. Sam worked on the case of Bisheuvel v Birrell which remains, 10 years on, the case with the highest damages award ever made by the High Court at £9.2million.

In some, but not all, of our cases, funding can be secured through a combination of a Conditional Fee Agreement (commonly known as "no win no fee") and After the Event (ATE) insurance cover.
